Première réunion de la Société des Nations à Londres : St James Palace London

Contenu

Item title reads: "St James's Palace London. League of Nations. Distinguished representatives of all nations - save America - attend historic gathering at St. James's Palace" Intertitle reads: "M. Millerand - the French Premier - poses for the Pathe Gazette." M/Ss of groups of various unidentified men climbing out of cars. Various shots of the delegates in the grounds of St James'Palace. A man looks very dashing in large great coat and pillbox hat - perhaps he is M. Millerand? Other delegates walk around the courtyard. We have no paperwork to identify the other "distinguished representatives" featured. The man in the great coat helps people to climb into their taxis. Various shots of other delegates getting into cars. They chat and joke with each other. C/U of man with white hair, glasses and large moustache - M. Millerand I presume? More footage of delegates. Note: It seems as though the cuts for this story are spliced directly onto the end. Cut story was approximately 2 and a half minutes. This footage runs for approx 4 and a half minutes.

Intervenants : Alexandre Millerand, président de la République française de 1920 à 1924
