Artist's impression shows the future European multi-purpose telecommunications satellite Olympus
Contenu
One of the major purposes of this ESA satellite will be direct to home television broadcasting. Other applications will include : - European specialised services - Intercontinental trunk services - Integrated mobile communications - European trunk services - Integrated services for developing countries. Olympus is scheduled to be launched with the European Ariane in 1987
